Inaugural Taste Fore The Tour Event Welcomes sports and food celebrities to Minneapolis

Sir Nick Faldo headlined the star studded event held prior to the 3M Open in Minneapolis, MN on July 1, 2019. Taste Fore The Tour was created by Wayne Kostroski, founder of Taste of the NFL, in an effort to raise awareness and dollars for hunger relief. The evening was highlighted by a four-course meal prepared by a foursome of James Beard-recognized chefs, and hosted by TV personality and chef, Andrew Zimmerman. An impressive celebrity guest list lined up to support the cause including Joe Mauer, Kyle Rudolph, Tim Herron and more.

The guest of honor for this kick-off event was six-time major champion and CBS golf analyst, Sir Nick Faldo. Sir Nick and Kostroski officially announced the event during Faldo’s CBS special, “Sir Nick Takes Off The Armor,” which originally aired May 18.

Taste Fore The Tour raised funds for Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People, a Twin cities based basic needs organization who programs provide access to healthy foods, social services and housing stability. All proceeds from the evening were donated to VEAP. Each future TFTT stop around the country will benefit local food banks and hunger relief programs in the cities where the events take place.
