23 July 2013: Elena Pagni of Italy won the first Faldo Series Italy Championship at Golf Club Toscana by six shots. A total of five Italian players qualified for the Faldo Series Grand Final, to be hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Greenbrier in West Virginia, USA.
Joining 17-year-old Pagni at the seventeenth Grand Final in October will be Emilio Pallavicino, Alessandro Spinelli and Damiani Lorenzo. The Italian trio finished on the podium in Italy to qualify for the World Amateur Golf Ranking event.
The fifth Grand Final spot went to Vittoria Anfossi, runner-up to Pagni in the girls’ division.
