Faldo Series marks ten years in Brazil

26 May 2017: The Faldo Series will celebrate ten years in Brazil when its annual South America Championship tees off at Alphaville Graciosa in Curitiba on June 2-4. Over 90 players are expected to head to the South coast of Brazil for the three day competition.

With World Amateur Golf Ranking points on offer, golfers aged 12 to 21 will compete over three rounds in the tenth Faldo Series South America Championship, which moves to Alphaville Graciosa for the first time.

27 March 2017: The Faldo Series returns to Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club in Abu Dhabi on March 28-30, where five winners will join Sir Nick Faldo at the season-ending Grand Final.

Gutsy Gale leads Australian challenge at Faldo Series Asia Grand Final

Hue, Vietnam (March 17): Led by Daniel Gale, the five-strong Australian team at the 11th Faldo Series Asia Grand Final acquitted themselves well.

Gale was among only a handful of players who had the distinction of bettering par on all three days at the Faldo Design Laguna Lang Co course.

Thanks to rounds of 70, 68 and a closing 69, Gale topped the standings in the Boys’ Under-21 category and finished third overall, just two strokes behind the champion, Thailand’s Napat Paramacharoenroj.
